There are more people sleeping rough in Musgrave Park than ever. The Department of Housing needs to urgently intervene and commit to permanent housing now.

As a result of the worst housing crisis since the Great Depression, more people are sleeping rough and seeking safety and community in Musgrave Park.

With the annual Greek Paniyiri Festival requiring use of Musgrave park for ten consecutive days this May, scores of already-vulnerable people sleeping rough are at risk of being displaced, losing access to services, or being severely disadvantaged, with no safer place to go.
